So when you are dealing with two clingy babies, all day, on your own, you tend to pick your battles. There are certain things that are guaranteed to make the twins cry and have horrific tantrums, for example, leaving the room or in my case attempting to move away from them. Quite often a trip to the loo or just nipping into the kitchen to switch the kettle on can provoke a full scale meltdown and result in two inconsolable babies screaming in your face. So you try to comfort them when you return but they only want you all to themselves and will not stop crying. Now, unfortunately, I need to wee…. a lot. So the reality of my day is every time I leave the room the emotional dramatics which I return to is just not worth the stress. They have so many other things to get upset about and so I have resorted to weeing in a miniature heroes tub. Those of you that have been to my house can vouch that this is what I have done for the last 6 months and continue to do so in this present day. (such a minger, I know)  Seriously though, for those of you who are judging me…and think this is lazy and unhygienic ….I do apologise. But my reality is that most days I am just trying to get through the day without too much stress.  This is one less thing for the twins to get distressed about. So I can’t recommend it enough for those of you juggling twins on your own or even just one baby….. Piss in a pot. It’s a life saver at times! I use a large miniature heroes tub left over from Christmas as I tend to use my pots. Ha! This is a cheap and easy way to wee yourself to a stress free day and you get to eat all the chocs too. (Fit!) I draw the line at poos though. (Although on particularly bad days I have considered it)
